Every year, smoking cigarettes leads to the unfortunate death of over 6 million people every year. This statistic is supposed to increase to 8 million people because of the rise of e-cigarettes and not the complete end to cigarette smoking. With smoking being the number 1 preventable cause of death, it is important to inform and spread the harmful side effects to my generation and the next generation in order to hopefully prevent and stop this sad epidemic.
